Privacy policy

Last reviewed: 23 October 2026

Sync Lumen Consulting Pte. Ltd. ("we", "us") is the data controller for personal data collected through sync-lumen.digital. This policy is framed under Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA), as amended.

Data Protection Officer

Our Data Protection Officer is Marcus Tan Wei Jie, reachable at info@sync-lumen.digital or +65-6000-1903 for access, correction, or privacy questions.

What we collect

  • Inquiry form: name, email, optional phone, and message content you submit via POST to /api/inquiry on this domain. Data is used solely to respond to your inquiry.
  • Cookie preference: your accept/reject choice stored in browser localStorage under the key syncLumenConsent. No analytics cookies are set.

Purposes and legal bases

We process inquiry data based on your consent when submitting the form and our legitimate interest in operating a consulting business. Purpose limitation applies: we do not use inquiry content for unrelated marketing lists.

Retention

Inquiry records are kept for up to twenty-four months after the matter closes, unless a longer period is required for legal claims or accounting. Cookie preference strings remain until you clear site data or change your choice via the footer link.

Protection and transfer

Access is restricted to staff who need it to respond. We do not sell personal data. Cross-border transfers occur only if you request cloud tooling that stores data outside Singapore; we will flag that in project correspondence.

Your rights

You may request access to or correction of personal data we hold about you, or withdraw consent where applicable, by contacting the DPO. You may also lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Commission (PDPC).

Do Not Call Registry

If you provide a Singapore telephone number, we will not use it for telemarketing unless you have given clear consent or an applicable exemption applies.

Data breaches

Since 1 February 2021, notifiable breaches must be reported to the PDPC as soon as practicable and no later than three calendar days after we assess a breach as notifiable. Affected individuals are notified when significant harm is likely.

No analytics

This site does not run analytics, advertising pixels, or third-party tracking scripts.
